Reminder: Office Hours on ISL in SmartCare
CalMHSA is holding ISL in SmartCare Office Hours every other Tuesday from 11 a.m. to noon, to include updates on ongoing development efforts. Counties can register for office hours here.
Additionally, a protocol related to ISL implementation in SmartCare is now available on the Protocols page or directly via Individual Service Level (ISL) Data in SmartCare; the protocol will be updated as development progresses.
SmartCare Individual Service Level (ISL) Data Offerings
As part of ISL implementation, CalMHSA is offering counties the option to have SmartCare program configuration handled on their behalf instead of completing it manually.
RCM Counties: The following are included at no additional cost as part of the existing RCM service; however, a contract amendment will need to add ISL to the county’s package. Counties can contact their CalMHSA account manager for more information.
- Assigning ISL codes to programs (use the Program Inventory spreadsheet).
- Adding new programs (use the RCM New Program Request Form)
- ISL state reporting.
Non-RCM Counties: The following are available as optional, fee-based services, and counties may opt in to one or both. Counties can contact their CalMHSA account manager for more information about opting in and pricing.
- Assigning ISL codes to programs (one-time setup, use the Program Inventory spreadsheet): $10,000 per county.
- ISL state reporting (ongoing service): pricing determined on a county-by-county basis, based on multiple factors.
How it works:
- Counties contact their CalMHSA account manager to indicate which offerings they are interested in.
- Counties amend their contract to include the selected offerings.
3a. Assignment of ISL Codes to Programs (all SmartCare counties):
- A ticket is opened in HubSpot under the “ISL Configuration” category with a completed Program Inventory.
- CalMHSA checks the information for accuracy and completeness.
- CalMHSA makes the changes in the QA environment.
- The county reviews the changes and approves them, or requests updates, before CalMHSA pushes to production.
- CalMHSA pushes the changes to production and closes the ticket. (Complete)
3b. Adding New Programs (RCM offering only):
- The RCM New Program Request Form is completed.
- CalMHSA checks the information for accuracy and completeness.
- CalMHSA makes the changes in production. (Complete)
Contact your CalMHSA account manager for more information on this workflow and to amend your contract to include ISL data.
