May/June MSP Available in QA for Testing
The May/June Monthly Service Pack (MSP) was deployed to QA on Aug. 11. The timeline for the production deployment is still pending; details will be shared as they become available.
Release notes and the excel spreadsheet with the associated tasks can be found on the Knowledge Base.
Action Required: Updated Invoice Reconciliation Tool Now Available
The Invoice Reconciliation Tool was updated to support the new Mode of Delivery columns recently added to the Invoice Generator.
Action Required: Counties are asked to download and use the latest version of the tool to reconcile invoices that include Mode of Delivery data. Older versions of the tool will not process these columns correctly.

New Group Validation Configuration Key
A new configuration key related to group validations (#44) was added as part of the April 2026 MSP. Initial testing from CalMHSA and counties indicated the configuration key was not working; however, CalMHSA has since been unable to reproduce those results, suggesting the issue was resolved.
The configuration key checks whether the clinician selected for a group service meets degree requirements. This validation runs when the “Save” button is clicked, meaning that after a facilitator signs their notes and co-facilitator services are created, the validation will not run again unless a user re-saves the group service detail following further action. As a result, the key will not eliminate all billing errors tied to clinicians using service codes outside their license or degree, but it should help reduce group-related billing errors overall.
CalMHSA will activate the configuration key and set it to “Primary Driven” on Thursday, Aug. 14. This change should not affect staff, who should already be ensuring that services associated with clinicians are appropriate. CalMHSA will set the key to “Allow Modification by Affiliate” so counties can disable it if needed, though CalMHSA recommends leaving it on.
