Performance Release Downtime Overnight
Counties will experience two hours of scheduled downtime between 2 and 4 a.m. tomorrow morning, Aug. 16, during a performance release. The CalMHSA and Streamline teams are committed to ongoing performance enhancements and will continue to work on improvements.
Delayed Release of Psych/Medical Note Template
Given recent performance issues, the replacement of the psychiatric note template has been delayed. CalMHSA has been working toward this system enhancement with the input of county medical directors, which requires that staff sign off on their notes prior to the switch. Once the overall system performance is restored to an acceptable level, CalMHSA will communicate with counties and allow appropriate time to complete any outstanding notes before implementation.
CalMHSA will continue to keep counties apprised of the status of this enhancement and appreciates all users’ patience with the delay of the new note template.
New Invoice Reconciliation Tool
CalMHSA has created a new invoice reconciliation tool to allow counties to compare newly created and previously paid invoices created from the Invoice Generator. The new tool will generate a list of discrepancies so that a true-up can be performed, if necessary. Documentation for how to use the tool, as well as installation instructions, are available on the website.
Mental Status Exam Naming Issue Resolved
After receiving reports that the Mental Status Exam had been renamed to “Mental Status Exam (Psych Version) – IP,” CalMHSA has reverted the name to its original “Mental Status Exam.” The additional MSEs created as part of this release have been deactivated.
