Reminder: Deadline to Submit SDMC Claims to DHCS Is May 22
The deadline to submit SDMC claims for payment within the current fiscal year is May 22. This will ensure ample processing time for DHCS to issue payments.
Claims submitted after May 22 may be delayed to FY 2026-27 for payment processing. Submitting claims as early as possible will help to avoid backlog issues.
CalMHSA, Help Desk Closed May 25 for Memorial Day
CalMHSA and the Help Desk will be closed May 25, in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday.
Strong Attendance and Collaboration Highlight Tools for Transformation Conference
This week’s Tools for Transformation EHR conference brought together 109 attendees representing 25 EHR counties for two days of in-person collaboration, learning, and discussion focused on the future of behavioral health transformation. The conference saw strong attendance and enthusiastic engagement from participants, with attendees actively contributing questions, feedback, and shared experiences throughout the sessions. Topics ranging from reporting and documentation requirements and EHR tools to data strategy and operational readiness sparked meaningful conversations and practical insights for counties navigating evolving behavioral health initiatives.
