- For PRNs indications (eg. as needed for [symptom]) and exact timing (eg. before meals, at noon, 5pm), please put this information in the instruction textbox for patients.
- Of note, there was a request to Streamline to ask to separate out the PRN from frequency, but that request was not granted. If this continues to be an issue, please let us know with examples.
- For dose ranges, you will need to put this information in the instruction text and may also need to clarify within “Note to Pharmacy” since there is not an option to free text a dose range and/or add within the “dose” column.
- We are exploring this further with Streamline to allow for better functionality.
