User Role Access Changes

In our ongoing effort to refine user role access to specific screens in SmartCare, we recently removed access to the Services (My Office) list page from both the Prescriber and Front Desk user roles. A new add-on user role, “Services My Office,” was created to allow for a more targeted addition of the Services (My Office) list page screen to users by counties.

Additional screens are currently being reviewed as potential options for a more granular add-on approach moving forward.

Performance Back on Track

CalMHSA appreciates counties’ close partnership in identifying and troubleshooting the SmartCare challenges that arose in the past month, as well as Streamline’s work to ensure performance is meeting county expectations. With those issues now resolved, any counties experiencing persistent performance difficulties should be sure to submit a ticket for those items as soon as possible.

CARE Act Court Documents

CalMHSA has received questions from counties about how CARE Act documents will be saved in SmartCare. We are working with legal counsel at Manatt and will likely be reaching out to the state Judicial Council and Department of Health Care Services for additional guidance. Watch for more information as it becomes available.
