Details: By using the following confirmation key”ShowMsgWhenHeightWeightIsMissingInRx” and setting to “Yes”, this will cause a pop-up to appear in the following scenarios when a prescriber tries to order a medication:
- Client is 18 years or younger, and
- Client has no Height and/or Weight Flow Sheet entry, or
- Client’s most recent Height and/or Weight Flow Sheet entry is 6 months ago or more.
This will safeguard against ordering medications accidentally without a height or weight, but also allow prescribers to bypass the requirements, it is not necessary or is not needed. It will also record the reason why a prescriber feels the information is not needed.
