Description:This key will show alerts if there duplicative medication orders with overlapping dates in both Medication Rx and in Client Orders. Currently the alerts are for exact medication names ( and you will not get an alert if there is a generic with a brand name, or same ingredients in a compound drug etc. Streamline plans to incorporate a larger set of alerts in the future.
The system is defaulted to “Rx and Client Orders”, the Warning message for Rx and warning message for SmartCare will be displayed on both the Client
Order Screen as well as the Rx Medication Screen when the system find a duplicate order being placed.
There are also the following choices:

“Only Rx”, the Warning message for Rx will be displayed only on the Rx Medication Screen when the system find a duplicate order being placed.

“Only Client Orders”, the Warning message for SmartCare will be displayed only

on the Client Order Screen when the system find a duplicate order being placed.

“None”, there will be no change and the system will follow

the existing process.
Counties can change the selection as desired.
