Service Request Type Setup

When requesting service authorization, the type of service is required. This would be either SUD, Non-SUD, or Other Health Coverage. This is related to CDAG tracking and how information is shared with other systems. This field, “Type of Service” is managed by the “Service Request Type” global code. CalMHSA manages this global code, but this setup may not be done in your QA environments. In order to map these global code Ids to the appropriate “service area” in Program Details (program setup), the following must be added to External Code 1 of the Service Request Type global codes.

• SUD = 3
• Non-SUD = 1
