If the Mobile Crisis Team is dispatched, open the client to the Mobile Crisis Program. This will allow the Mobile Crisis Team to complete their next steps. CalMHSA is working on making this part automatic, but in the meantime, this will have to be done manually. This can be done by the dispatcher, supervisor, or the Mobile Crisis Team themselves. This will need to be done before any of the following steps can occur, as all documentation will now be associated to this Mobile Crisis program.
- The client should already be open. Click on the Search icon.
- Type in âClient Programsâ in the search bar.
- Select âClient Programs (Client)â from the search results.
- This will take you to the Client Programs screen. Click on the New icon.
- This will take you to the Program Assignment Details screen. Select the Mobile Crisis program in the Program field.
- Change the status to âEnrolledâ.
- Enter in the date the Mobile Crisis Dispatch team was dispatched to the scene in the âEnrolled Dateâ field. You can enter âcâ to automatically populate todayâs date (c=current).
- When a Mobile Crisis Team is dispatched, at least 1 person must go to the site of the person in crisis. CalMHSA recommends you assign the person one the scene as the âProgram Assigned Staffâ.
- Enter any additional comments as necessary.
- Click Save and close. The client is now enrolled in the Mobile Crisis Program, which means the Mobile Crisis Team can document to this program.
