Minimum Permissions for a Custom Patient Portal User Role

When creating a custom base user role for non-staff users, there are a few recommend minimal permissions to include:

Application Actions

  1. Favorite Search
  2. Search

Screens

  1. Administration: Care Team Images
  2. Client: My Dashboard
  3. Client: My Preferences

 

 

For any documents you want the person to be able to CREATE or EDIT:

  1. Grant permission to the corresponding Document Codes (Edit)
  2. Grant permission to the corresponding Document Codes (View)
  3. Grant permission to the corresponding Screens
    1. If there are any popups that can occur while on a screen, you’ll have to permission these popups separately. Find and grant permission to the corresponding Screens permission for these popups.
  4. Grant permission to the corresponding QuickLink

 

For any documents you want the person to be able to VIEW ONLY:

  1. Grant permission to the corresponding Document Codes (View)
  2. Grant permission to the corresponding Screens
    1. If there are any popups that can occur while on a screen, you’ll have to permission these popups separately. Find and grant permission to the corresponding Screens permission for these popups.
  3. Grant permission to the corresponding QuickLink
