This process will show you how to view medication history of a client. This can be done through Client Summary Screen or through Medications bar in CalMHSA Rx.
Note:
- ‘Client’ is same as ‘Patient’
- ‘County’ is same as ‘Practice’
- ‘Location’ is same as ‘Program’
Client Summary Screen
- Scroll down on the Client Summary Screen and click Show Medication History.

- This will open the drug history including medication from other sources. Click the time period drop down to change.

- Click the + icon to add medication to bring in the medication.

- The + icon for a particular drug opens details about the medication, including Date Filled, Directions, Quantity (Qty), Original (Orig) Refills, Provider, Pharmacy, Data Source, Actions

- Click to select a medication from the list. Click the checkbox next to name of medication shows tick in the box and bright colored + Add to Active Medications. This medication.

- This medication, when added to active medications will reflect in the list of active medications

- Select All will allow all medications to be selected from the Drug History

- Select All medications can be either chosen for Add to Active Medications (brightens up once medication is selected) or Deselect All.

- Rx icon on right side of the name of medication allows Prescribe from Medication.

- Prescribe from Medication Rx Icon opens window where medications can be prescribed (same window as opens up from Create New Rx)

- A Copy Icon before name of drug indicates Medication already present in Patient Meds List (pop up when hovered on).

- Click Show Inactive Medications which displays a list of all inactive medications down on the same screen


- Actions can be chosen from the list of inactive medications—
- Renew
- Prescribe
- Restart
- Delete

Medications Bar in CalMHSA Rx
- Access the triple bar on left top corner in the screen, next to CalMHSA Rx, scroll down in the dropdown menu and select Medications.

- Medications bar will open Client Medications, including Show Medication History and Show Inactive Medications
