How to Document Your Attending/Rotating Supervisor on Your Services

If you have a single supervisor, you do not need to do anything to designate your supervisor on your services. Your system administrator will have added your supervisor to your user account and the system will take care of including any of your supervisor’s relevant information on your service claims.

However, some clinical trainees/students, interns, and residents don’t have a single supervisor. Instead, they have different supervisors on different days. If you are in this situation, you’ll need to complete the Attending field when completing your service notes. Select the supervisor who oversaw this service from the Attending dropdown field. Complete the rest of your service note as usual. This will ensure that this supervisor’s relevant information is added to this service claim.
