How to Create a Lab Panel / How to Create an Order Set

  1. Click the Search icon.
  2. Type Order Sets into the Search Bar.
  3. Select Order Sets (Administration). This will take you to the list page.
  4. Click the New icon in the upper right-hand corner.
  5. Enter the Order Set name in the corresponding field.
  6. Click the drop-down arrow in the Select Order Type field and select Labs.
  7. In the Search Orders field, type the name of the Lab you want to add to the panel.
  8. Click Add. Repeat until all orders are added to the panel.

Note: Labs can be added to labs, but labs can’t be combined with other order types.

  1. Once you have added all necessary labs, click Save.
