This section pulls in any allergies entered in SmartCare or entered directly here for the patient. Any allergy information entered here gets pushed back to the main SmartCare module. This is also where you can document medications that the client shows intolerance or ineffectiveness towards.
How to Add an Allergy, Intolerance, or Failed Trial

1. Navigate to the section showing current allergies, intolerances, and/or failed trials. Enter at least 2 characters in the search bar and click the Add Allergy button.

2. This opens a Search Allergy popup window. Select the search option that best matches the allergy.

3. Add any information about the client’s reaction to the substance and the severity of the allergy/intolerance.

4. Add any additional comments.

5. Select whether this is an allergy, an intolerance, or a failed trial.

6. When you’re finished, click Select.
