We are seeking feedback from all inpatient services to help provide feedback for suicide assessments.Our team is in the very early concept phase of exploring an Inpatient Admissions Packet designed to help streamline the admissions process by bringing key documentation together in one place within the EHR. At this stage, no development work has begun, no work has been scheduled, and there is currently no estimated timeline for delivery. Your feedback will help us better understand current practices and priorities before any design decisions are finalized.Who should attend? We strongly encourage participation from:
- Medical Directors
- Nursing Managers
- Clinical and Operational Leaders involved in the inpatient admissions process
While this discussion will primarily focus on Psychiatric Health Facilities (PHFs) and inpatient treatment centers, organizations with similar inpatient behavioral health workflows may also find the session relevant.What to bring To make the discussion as valuable as possible, please come prepared with:
- Examples of your current suicide assessment(s)
- An overview of your admissions workflow
- Any challenges, pain points, or opportunities you see for improving the process
The goal of this session is to understand how organizations currently conduct suicide assessments during inpatient admissions and identify opportunities to simplify workflows while ensuring critical documentation is readily available within the EHR.We appreciate your willingness to share your expertise and help inform the future direction of this concept.
