Updates to Order Template Frequency Screen Effective Aug. 4
On Aug. 4, Streamline will update the Order Template Frequency screen with changes that will impact some frequencies in Client Orders needed for inpatient/CSU medications, labs, nursing/additional orders, etc. Users may be affected in that previous orders may have errors and will need to be corrected manually.
CalMHSA is advocating for these changes in order to have accurate usage and display of frequencies. The major changes will include:
- Frequencies that are “Every X Hours” will be based on the start time rather than a predetermined fixed time.
- Removal of any “DO NOT USE” for clean-up purposes
- Lab frequencies will have additional options.
- Allowing all fields within each Order Template Frequency to be modifiable by counties. Of note, CalMHSA reserves the right to override these modifications.
- Using Medication Rx as a method of tracking medications on the MAR will no longer be possible. All MAR usage will be driven by Client Orders.
