DisplayOrRemoveRevokedROIInReleaseOfInformationLog

Brief Description: This determines whether revoked ROIs will continue to show on the Client Information: ROI Log.

Details: There is a tab on the Client Information screen that lists all of the client’s Release of Information documents in SmartCare. By default, this will only show active ROIs. The term “active” is inclusive, meaning if an ROI has an end date of today, the ROI will show as active in this ROI log. Since revoking an ROI simply adds an end date, and since the ROI log is inclusive, revoked ROIs would remain as “active” on the log. CalMHSA felt this created a privacy risk. This configuration key was created to move ROIs that have been revoked to “inactive” on the ROI log. ROIs that have an end date of today will still be included on the ROI log, as the date is inclusive. Only revoked ROIs will be removed using this configuration key.

Default Value: Yes

Allowed Values:

  1. “Yes” – Will set revoked ROIs to inactive on the ROI log, even if the end date is today.

  2. “No” – Will ignore revoked status and simply show ROIs that are active, even if the ROI was revoked, so long as the end date of the ROI is today or later.
