Description: This determines whether the Inquiry Details screen can be locked or not.
Details: See Inquiry Locking Functionality for details on how this feature works.
Default Value: No
NOTE: CalMHSA is planning to change this default value to “Yes” but is currently getting county feedback before determining when this change will be made.
Allowed Values:
- “Yes”
- The Inquiry Details screen will have the “Unlock” icon visible. This icon is permissioned.
- When the inquiry status is “Complete” and the inquiry is then saved, the inquiry will be locked down, meaning fields are no longer editable.
- If an inquiry record has been locked and is subsequently unlocked and edits are made, none of these edits will push back to the Client Information screen.
- “No”
- The Inquiry Details screen will NOT have the “Unlock” icon visible.
- When the inquiry status is “Complete” and the inquiry is then saved, nothing will occur. Changes may be made to the inquiry at any time.
- Anytime the inquiry is saved, client related data will push to the Client Information screen, overwriting any data that may already exist in that field. This includes fields that are NULL in the Inquiry Details screen but are not NULL in the Client Information screen. If the value is NULL in the Inquiry Details screen, then when saved, the value in the corresponding Client Information field will be updated to be NULL.
