How to Order Labs
1.With the client open, click the Search icon.
2. Type in “Quick Orders” in the search bar.
3. Select “Quick Orders (Client)” from the search results.
4.In the CDAG Program Enrollment window pop-up, click the drop down and click to select the appropriate program.
5. Click OK to continue.
6. If you’ve already entered orders for this client before, it will show you the most recent order in PDF form. Click the New icon to open a new order.
7. This takes you to the Quick Orders screen. Click in the Search Order field and start typing in the lab you want to order.
a. Select your lab from the search results.
8. This will automatically populate most information in the order screen.
9. Click Add Order.
10. This will add your order to the list in the bottom part of the screen. Repeat these steps to add any additional labs you want to order.
11. When you’re finished adding labs, click Sign to complete and generate the document. This will also submit the lab request electronically to the lab your county has an electronic connection with.
How to View Lab Results
12. You can view lab results using the Lab Result widget on your dashboard.
13. You can also view lab result details by opening the Lab Results Review screen.
a. With the client open, click the Search icon.
b. Type in “Lab Results” in the search bar.
c. Select “Lab Results Review (Client)” in the search results.
d. This takes you to the Lab Results Review screen. Click View PDF.
e. This will bring up the detailed information on the lab results.
