Discontinuing a medication can be done in the patient summary screen of the Rx system.
1. Select X of medication from the medication list that you would like to discontinue.
2. Click Yes if you choose to discontinue the medication.
3. Enter Discontinue Reason screen should pop up.
4. Select drop-down to choose reason.
5. Enter further details describing reason for discontinuing.
6. Choose discontinuation letter method.
7. Click Discontinue.
