How to Schedule a Follow-Up Appointment

To schedule a follow-up appointment from your calendar, follow the steps below:

  1. From your SmartCare home page, locate the Appointments for Today widget. Click the appointment time to the right of the patient’s name. 
  1. In the Progress Note screen, click the Follow-Up icon.
  1. Your Staff Calendar screen will open. Use the Navigator at the top of calendar to locate a date for the follow-up.
  2. Click and drag your mouse on the calendar time slot you want to book.
  3. In the New Entry Type window, click the radio button for New Service Entry.
  4. Click OK.
  1. Confirm all the information is correct in the Service Detail screen.
  2. Click Save.
