Contract Provider Charge Export Expanded

New parameters — Service Start Date and Service End Date — have been added to the Contract Provider Charge Export, allowing counties to filter results by date of service if needed. By default, the parameters will be disabled.

Additionally, the Contract Provider Charge Export now supports MAT same-day dosing. When multiple MAT services are recorded for a client on the same date, and the procedures share the same medication name (as entered in the custom fields under Procedure/Rates > Administration), the system will divide the charge unit evenly among the services so that the total equals one charge unit. This update aligns the export logic with procedures for billing MAT to Medi-Cal in the 837 file format.

Connect With Your EHR Colleagues: Register for Next Month’s Conference

Don’t miss out on the chance to meet, share with, and find collective solutions with your county colleagues at this year’s in-person conference, Sept. 17-18 in Sacramento. The two days of timely sessions feature everything from training to billing and state reporting, from CalMHSA Rx to AI and leveraging data possibilities, and more – all focused around the central theme of connecting with colleagues and sharing ideas. Explore the full agenda and register today.

Fix Deployed to Export Option in Batch Service Upload

When using the export option in Batch Service Upload, formatting issues with the column header for “AddOn Procedure Units” caused an error message of “Column Name and Column Order not in the expected format” if the same file was later re-uploaded for reprocessing.

A fix has been deployed to production environments to address this. The column name will now reflect in the proper format of “AddOn ProcedureUnits.”
